Race Day 9-14-2016. Winds starting at 4-7 from the east; one race sailed in this wind. Then 3-6 from the west, 2 races sailed in this one, with all sorts of “fun” windshifts in between.
Very change-able conditions out there. No one was safe from bad luck or being on the wrong side, or out-shifted by the wind. The top 2 teams however, showed a path, and managed incredible consistency by intensely observing conditions outside the boat, and communicating. Also, they somehow remained patient.
