Practice: Focus on Fleet Racing Today

• Several Practice Starts.. then you’ll be released to weather mark. Stop there. Re-form.
• Downwind FTL(SNO)  and/or DW rabbit start race to leeward gate, round and race to WM
• DW rabbit start (using coach boat as rabbit)  to finish line. Work on Finishing
  • very often your last gybe or wing on/off on the finish should be at least 2 boat-lengths from the finish. If you do it too close to the finish it actually delays your line crossing.
  • Fight to win the favored end.
  • Sail in narrow lanes but clear air lanes.
