• If there is wind, go right out and practice boat handling. NO MEETING. Wind model suggests we may well get our own personal Magothy Easterly. After we warm up, FJ’s will do balance drill, 420’s off on another course.

Terms to learn and think about today:

  Spacing – where the boats are relative to each other in distance (tight, loose, uneven)

  Pacing/Compressing – slowing down / accelerating to space/gap to your advantage

  Gapping – the simple act of spreading out the game

  Balance – Term used for keeping an opponent, by Covering, Ragging or Killing, behind a teammate on another part of the course. (Unbalance )
