• Launch coach boat right away
• Need to check/rig/fix all 18 boats this week
• Need RC volunteers for Sunday

Practice

• Warm up together
• Maybe some “kill” practice
• Then Red / Black will work on 1st beat, then DW combo 1,4,6  then final beat 1,4,6
•  Blue/green will train with Coach A.

Gap 
Term used for the distance between two boats on the racecourse and usually between two boats on the same team.

Condensing
Term used to describe slowing down the race while at the same time bringing all the boats closer together and closing any Gaps.  Normally this is done when your team is behind and you need teammates to catch up before any other play can be attempted.

Balance 
Term used for keeping an opponent, by Covering, Ragging or Killing, behind a teammate on another part of the course. (Unbalance )

Breaking Ties
Term used for slowing an opponent, who may be even with a teammate, WITHOUT slowing yourself, in order to allow that teammate to pull ahead of that opponent.

Kill
Term used to describe slowing down an opponent in an effort to push that opponent as far back as possible and any teammates ahead of that opponent.
