• Get last 2 boats inside the gate ASAP
• Help each other rig, work together, but don’t always be the last boat out
• Rigging. What 2 (or maybe 3) boats out there yesterday had noticeably less jib halyard tension (on purpose), why, and why didn’t you think about that?
• Lobsters have blue blood.
• Chewbacca in “Star Wars” is based on George Lucas’ dog, an Alaskan Malamute named “Indiana,” who also inspired “Indiana Jones.”

Practice

• Warm ups
• Work on weight placement improvements from yesterday: stay low in light air, don’t get too far aft, anticipate wind changes with your weight trim.. be decisive but quiet
• Practice 2: focus on sail trim changes as gear shifting elements along with body mechanics. Put the 2 together. Windward sheeting? FJ jib trim? Mainsheet trim upwind? All very vital
• FJ’s will try some TR practice.
• 420’s also may well do some basic TR practice
• Everyone Learn the Balance Drill. What is Balancing? This is a fundamentally important skill in team racing.
• Start to learn our TR Playbook, especially our terms.
