THIS WEEKEND

Successful weekend for our sailing team!

Yesterday at the SCC JV Regatta,  the team of

Jack/Sophie
Peter/Blake

…won the regatta! (See attached results).

Today at the competitive DC Sail Varsity Regatta, we had an all-freshman team, and although the results are still not in, our team did a great job overall, highlighted by our B-Division team of Sam Reilly/Marcus Adam, who had finishes of 4,3,1 (see photo of Sam/Marcus winning the last race).

Will/Abby sailed in A-Division and did well in very crazy conditions.

As of this writing, the scores are both incomplete and wrong. Regardless, this was a great day for our young team. 

UPCOMING WEEK

We have a lot to prove and a lot of work to do this week.
We will practice at the marina Mon-Thurs.

MONDAY
-all team, boat-handling

TUESDAY
-Varsity and selected team players only (stay tuned to roster)

WEDNESDAY
-Team Race Day (all team with WAC)

THURSDAY
-Final boat-handling/plays, teamwork day.

FRIDAY
-Travel day and no practice.
