Hi;
This week we will focus on FJ & 420 boat speed and handling, along with managing race course decisions upwind and downwind. This is an important week for us, and we will need as many boats on the water as possible for the 3 days we have. JV is training for their first event, and Varsity is training for the District Championship. JV weekend team will be announced tomorrow.
Here’s a brief of the week:
Monday       — Workouts. Team Meeting afterward to introduce some drills for the week
Tuesday       — Practice: Starts, crowded first beat lane management
Wednesday — Practice: Mark Roundings & Downwind lane management
Thursday     — Practice: Heavy air practice with crew combo switches
Friday           — NO SAILING at Magothy. Travel Day. Varsity team traveling to CCS early out at 1200. JV meet on campus or day off TBD.
