Scored Race Day

No Meeting. When you are ready you can head out and warm up.

-Most likely course 4 with an offset and leeward gate. I may do a 3 leg course, or even 2.

-After a general recall we are automatically activate the 1-minute rule (this is a standard college/hs rule)

-On-the-water judges may assess penalties for rules violations. For rocking/sculling/rule 42, judge may first assess a warning. Next infraction is automatically a 720. Third infraction is DSQ from that race.

-Protest procedure

• inform boat at time of incident
• inform RC when finishing
• Ask for hearing when we are on shore at end of day
• Usually good to find a witness if possible
