Practice Wednesday 10-25-2017

The TR teams are set (see below) for today. Thanks to those who responded to the self-eval; I am still in need of one of those. The team below (for today) represents what a clear majority of you chose; it is in line with my thoughts as well, and my evaluation is based on the entire fall season so far, along with last spring.
Caroline/Abby are the next boat in the rotation, and in some cases they may well be a starting part of the red team. For now, however, we will give a hard look at this red team below. By Friday we will have our starting lineup for the District championship set. Please take 5 minutes today in your groups outlining your starting strategy.
Your crew assessments were overwhelmingly in favor of the three red crews below, so they are likely our starting TR crew team going forward. The nice thing is that they are also all very experienced and will offer that advantage to our younger skippers. We WILL absolutely use and bring substitutes, light and heavy.

  • regular-start First Beat; if combos are close we’ll keep sailing.
  • Combo RED 2,3,5 from mark 2 to 4.
  • Final Beat RED 2,3,5
  • A few full Games.
